Terms of Service

Last revised: June 20, 2026

Welcome, and thanks for stopping by! By visiting squirelocksmith.com or reaching out to Squire Locksmith to request any service, you’re agreeing to the terms laid out on this page. That applies whether you fill out a form, make a phone call through the site, or book an appointment online. If any part of these terms doesn’t work for you, please don’t submit a service request or continue using the site. These terms cover everyone who visits or interacts with the site, so it’s worth a quick read before you get started.

What Happens If Part of This Agreement Isn’t Enforceable?

Every now and then, a specific provision in an agreement like this one turns out to be unenforceable under applicable law. If that happens with any section here, that section can be set aside without affecting anything else. The remaining terms stay fully in place and continue to apply just as written. No single provision being invalid cancels out the rest of the agreement between you and Squire Locksmith.

What Is Squire Locksmith’s Liability to You?

Squire Locksmith wants every job to go smoothly, but it’s important to be straightforward about limits. If something does go wrong, Squire Locksmith’s total liability to you won’t exceed the amount you actually paid for the specific service in question. Beyond that cap, Squire Locksmith is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — things like lost time, lost income, or secondary property issues that weren’t a direct result of the work itself. This limitation applies to the fullest extent allowed by law.

What’s the Policy for Canceling or Rescheduling?

Life happens, and Squire Locksmith understands that plans change. That said, a heads-up of at least 24 hours before a scheduled appointment is really appreciated — it allows time to adjust the schedule and offer that slot to another customer who needs it. Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a late-cancellation fee. If a fee applies to your situation, Squire Locksmith will let you know up front. Same-day no-shows may also be subject to this policy.

Which Laws Govern This Agreement?

These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of MI, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If a dispute arises between you and Squire Locksmith that can’t be resolved informally, it will be handled in the appropriate courts located in MI. By using this site or requesting services, you agree to that jurisdiction and venue.

How Should This Website Be Used?

squirelocksmith.com is here to help people learn about Squire Locksmith’s services and get in touch. Please use it for that purpose. The following aren’t allowed:

  • Scraping or automatically harvesting content or data from the site
  • Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent service requests
  • Using the site in any way that could damage, overload, or interfere with its normal operation
  • Attempting to access areas of the site that aren’t intended for public use

Squire Locksmith reserves the right to block access to anyone misusing the site.

Does Squire Locksmith Warranty Its Work?

Squire Locksmith stands behind the quality of its work. Specific workmanship warranty terms — including duration and what’s covered — will be communicated to you at the time of service. For any parts, materials, or equipment installed during a job, warranty coverage is determined by the original manufacturer’s terms and conditions, not by Squire Locksmith. If you have questions about a part warranty after service, Squire Locksmith is happy to help point you in the right direction.

Where and How Does Squire Locksmith Provide Services?

Squire Locksmith offers professional home services in Lansing, MI and the surrounding areas. All services are subject to availability and may require an on-site assessment before work can begin — some jobs need eyes on them before a scope or price can be confirmed.

It’s also worth knowing that some service requests coordinated through squirelocksmith.com may be carried out by independent service professionals or partner contractors who work alongside Squire Locksmith. Whether the work is done by Squire Locksmith’s own team or a coordinated partner, the same standard of quality is expected.

Can These Terms Change?

Squire Locksmith may update or revise these terms from time to time. When that happens, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continuing to use squirelocksmith.com or requesting services after changes are posted means you’re accepting the revised terms. It’s a good idea to check this page occasionally — it won’t change often, but when it does, the posted version is the one that applies.
